Vineyard Characteristics & Wine Process
The volcanic soil of the vineyard, which sits above Silverado Country Club, gives the wine a distinct flavor profile unique to the Eastern Napa Mountains.
Grapes are typically picked in the month of October, fermented in large barrels for 3 weeks, and are punched down twice daily by hand. The wine is aged in 80% new oak.
Wine Descriptors
2021 Kamber Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: This wine exhibits bold black fruit notes of plum and cassis, layered with complex hints of thyme and cedar. The pallet is greeted with vibrant red raspberry, finishing with elements of vanilla bean and espresso. This wine will age gracefully over the next 10-15 years.

2024 Kamber Cellars Rutherford, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc: This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the gorgeous Rutherford AVA in Napa Valley known for producing world class Cabernets and the best Sauvignon Blancs in Napa Valley.
Made in a combination of French and California winemaking styles, our Sauv. Blanc has a naturally refreshing acidity with notes of tropical stone fruits. This wine is bursting with citrus flavors and is the perfect pairing for warm weather fun.
Winemaker, Shawna Miller
Enchanted by the ancient mystique of wine and love of plant science, Shawna fell in love with the magic of winemaking on day one of working at a winery. She spent most of her twenties traveling around the world learning the secrets of winemaking, including harvests in New Zealand, Australia and Napa Valley.
Approaching her 20th harvest, she has had the pleasure of working at many incredible wineries and alongside such notable winemakers as Celia Welch and Philippe Melka.
Recently she was recognized as one of the most influential female winemakers of the world, representing the U.S. in Decanter Magazine.
Shawna passionately ran the Luna Vineyards winemaking program from 2011 until the winery’s sale in 2021. She created Earthshine Wines to continue producing wines that move the soul from vineyards that warm her heart.
Shawna also works as a consulting winemaker for several prestigious Napa brands under her brand Shawna Miller Wine, including Kamber Cellars.
